Nothing is on sale yet. These are the prices that will apply when buying opens, written down first so nobody is surprised. Nobody is charged before then.

What stays free

The doors on the front page are free to press and to hear again, and a free account keeps its monthly allowance of live story, as the Terms of Use describe. Paying buys more of the live kind: the story composed for you, in the moment, at the place and time you name.

Two subscriptions

A subscription is a monthly allowance of live story. Pick by how much you listen; both open every door and every destination.

• Occasional · 39 dollars a month

  120 minutes of live story each month.

• Regular · 99 dollars a month

  300 minutes of live story each month.

A top-up

A top-up is 90 minutes of live story, bought outright for 30 dollars. Anyone can buy one, with a subscription or without, and it is the only size sold. Purchased minutes carry over from month to month and last 12 months from the day you buy them.

When minutes renew

Your subscription's minutes renew every month, with your payment. Subscription minutes you did not use in a month do not carry over; purchased minutes do, until they expire at 12 months.

When you listen, the month's subscription minutes are spent first, then purchased minutes, oldest first. So a top-up is never used up while subscription minutes sit unspent, and no purchased time is stranded against its own expiry.

Cancelling, and refunds

The rule, in full:

• Cancel a subscription any time; it ends at the close of the period you paid for.
• Purchased minutes are not refunded once used.
• If something breaks on our side, tell us and we will make it right, with a refund or a credit.

To cancel, write to buildwith@bayesianleaf.co. A person reads that inbox. Cancelling is meant to be as easy as buying, and nothing you bought outright is taken away when you cancel.

Tax, and who pays

Prices are in US dollars. Where tax applies, it is added at checkout and shown before you confirm. A subscription or a top-up belongs to the adult who holds the account, as the Terms of Use say; the product is for families, and a child never pays.

If a price changes

If a price or a rule on this page changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
